what easyhour actually is. (and what it's not.)

easyhour notes — 020

we get asked this a lot, so here's the clearest answer we've got.

easyhour is a cannabis session journal. you open it after a session and log the strain, the grower, how it made you feel, what it tasted like, where you got it, how you'd rate it. add a photo if you want. give it a star. mark it buy again or not for me. that's the core of it. over time it becomes your personal cannabis history — a record of everything you've tried, everything you loved, everything you'd skip next time — and your stash tab keeps it all sortable and searchable, so you can actually find things again.

easyhour is also a recommendation feed, a quiet one. honest recs from real people near you. no follower counts, no sponsored posts, no influencers — just people logging what they tried and sharing it with whoever wants to see. you can like a post, or save a strain straight to your stash, and find things worth trying from people who have no reason to oversell anything.

what it's not is a strain database. we're not here to tell you what a strain is supposed to feel like based on someone else's averages — we're helping you figure out what works for you, which is a completely different thing. it's not a dispensary loyalty app either: no partnerships, no affiliate deals, no paid placements, so what shows up in the feed is what real people actually tried and chose to share. and it's not loud. no streaks, no gamification, no notifications demanding your attention. it's there when you want it and quiet when you don't. that part is on purpose.

why we built it comes down to a few things. because keeping a strain's packaging for a year so you don't forget what it was called is a real thing real people do, and it shouldn't have to be that hard. because honest recommendations from real people are worth more than anything an algorithm surfaces or an influencer promotes. and because cannabis culture deserves a quiet corner — a place that belongs in your routine instead of demanding attention from it.

if that sounds like something you've been looking for, easyhour is free on the ios app store. log your first session, build your stash, and see what your honest cannabis history actually looks like.
